The most rugged of Nitron’s shocks, the Adventure R1 is the perfect partner for both road and adventure riding.
Specifically designed and built for Dual Sport and Adventure bikes, the Adventure Series shocks offer exceptional year-round road and trail performance like no other.
Using billet aluminium components, Adventure shocks significantly improve ride quality and handling while reducing overall weight compared to a standard shock.
Engineered for Extreme Conditions
Adventure shocks feature:
- Heavy-duty 16mm piston rods
- High-flow 46mm piston design
Both are custom tuned and developed to handle everything from long-haul road commutes to Paris-Dakar style endurance events.
Simple Yet Effective
The Nitron ADV R1 shock has one damping adjustment:
- Single adjuster controls both compression and rebound
- Provides simple setup with a road-biased damping profile
- Spring preload adjustment
- Adjustable shock length
Each unit comes preset for damping and preload, and includes:
- Bearing end spacers
- Preload adjustment tool

Optional Hydraulic Preload Adjuster
This shock is available with an optional Hydraulic Preload Adjuster (HPA), allowing:
