If you can't wait any longer for spring just clean up the beds and trim the scraggly ivy and clip a few spring flowering shrubs (in inconspicuous locations), such as forsythia, quince, pussy willow, etc. and bring them into a warm room and place them in a vase with water and they will get you through the next couple of weeks of lingering winter.

Now is the time to cut back ornamental grasses, prune roses, and a perfect time to take a soil test to adjust the calcium and other necessary levels in your soil.

Don't forget to place your order for A-35, feather meal, and spread the corn gluten when the forsythia blooms.
